I enjoy a busy schedule on the London gig & function circuit,playing with many different musicians/bands.Often booked to play jazz but equally passionate about other genres of music i.e. pop,soul,latin,rock etc..I also do session recordings from time to time.
Though mainly a gigging musician, i also enjoy teaching,both privately & at a performing arts centre in North London(NLPAC).
I can take you through all aspects of drumming,from basic technique exercises to complex drum parts(reading music); the best way to hold your sticks, to understanding how & why you should play a certain rhythm to a particular song.
I believe that learning an instrument ought to be fun & inspirational,whether you are a beginner or a veteran(there's always more to learn!)....
